Gas Atomized Aluminum Powder Core Production Process

  1. Melting & Constant Temperature Holding
    High-purity aluminum ingots are melted at 750–800℃ to form stable superheated liquid aluminum. Protected by inert gas, the molten liquid maintains high purity without oxidation and slag inclusion.
  2. Stable Liquid Flow Guidance
    The molten aluminum flows down uniformly through a constant-temperature flow-limiting nozzle. Precise flow control ensures consistent particle size distribution for finished powder.
  3. High-Pressure Gas Atomization (Core Step)
    Adopts nitrogen or argon inert gas. Supersonic high-pressure gas (0.8–1.2 MPa) breaks the liquid aluminum stream into uniform micro-sized droplets in a closed oxygen-isolated environment.
  4. Rapid Cooling & Spherical Forming
    Atomized droplets cool rapidly in the sealed chamber and automatically shrink into high-sphericity spherical particles by surface tension, featuring excellent fluidity and uniform shape.
  5. Classifying & Sealed Collection
    Powder is precisely classified by airflow grading system to remove oversized particles. Full negative-pressure dust-free collection and passivation treatment ensure stable quality and long storage life.
