Core characteristics of standard impregnated aluminum paste

  1. The resin fully covers the aluminum flakes, with excellent chemical resistance
    The surface of the aluminum sheet is wrapped with a polymer resin film to isolate the aluminum powder from contact with water, acid and alkali media. It can be used in water-based coating systems and is not prone to swelling, blackening, or hydrogen evolution. This is the biggest difference from ordinary fatty acid coated aluminum silver paste.
  2. Good compatibility with various resin systems
    The surface resin layer has a high degree of compatibility with paint/ink resin, is easily dispersed, is not prone to agglomeration or particle formation, and the paint film has a uniform metallic feel.
  3. Improved paint film performance, better weather resistance and salt spray resistance
    The coating layer protects the aluminum sheet, making the paint film less prone to loss of gloss and darkening. Its adhesion, water resistance, and salt spray resistance are superior to ordinary aluminum silver paste.
  4. Mostly non floating, with a delicate and stable metallic texture
    Resin coating reduces floatability, and the aluminum sheet is fixed inside the paint film, which will not float to the surface of the paint film, making it less prone to silver peeling and scratching. It is suitable for solid metal paint.
  5. Good storage stability
    The slurry is not prone to settling and clumping, and there is little change in gloss and particle size during storage.
  6. Usage restrictions
    -Cannot stir at high speed, strong shearing will break the aluminum flakes, damage the resin coating, and lose the advantage of water resistance;
    -Long term use in a strongly alkaline environment can still damage the coating film;
    -Not suitable for formulas that pursue strong floating mirror silver effect.
